Cam, I sometimes go to the one in North Bethesda, but yes they are fun and expensive. What happened to the good old days of throwing a quarter in the machine, and playing for a good amount of time. These days, it seems like you have to throw in $10 and you get 3 seconds to play a game.

I get paid everyother week or "bi-weekly".
Yes, D&B is expensive, that's why it's a once every 3-4 months type of place for us, but the food is excellent and the games are fun.

Cam - Chuck E. Cheese's is good for us parents on a budget. There are a few in NoVa...
Just make sure to mainline blackmarket-strength sedatives before going ;)

Johnny Kemp reference duly noted.
I also get paid monthly. It actually surprised me a little bit that comapanies actually do that (having been used to getting paid weekly or bi-weekly). It's a startup, and the big boss still does the payroll--can't really blame her for wanting to do it once a month. I think it's good though--it enables/encourages me to pay all my monthly bills at once...

Holy crap, you're not kidding. Before we moved, one of Andrew's daycare buddies had his 3rd birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. It was insane.
Lots of MILFy types though, so I guess I can't complain too much.

I thought that Dave and Buster's was 21+ only? You gonna sneak the kids in there under your coat?

Most Dave and Buster's are all ages before 9 or 10.

I get paid on Monday for the first time in two months. Stupid end-of-term payment schedules. :P

Chuck E Cheese is a place I take the kids as well, but I can't stand Tumble Drum and probably will never go there again. What a friggin mad house.

At school, we cross the border to Niagara Falls, Canada and hit up Boston Pizza.

No joke. Forget price controls on prescription drugs. I want price controls on arcade games.

Chuck E Cheese here has booze. It has a separate bar area.

I remember going to the arcade on a budget with my buddies. I'd drop a quarter in the Frogger machine, and they'd usually have pull me away once all of their money was blown.
Those were the days. Now it is 50 cents to play for a minute, but you can keep going if only you pony up more coins.
