MS XP SP2 Firewall or Another product

Anyone know enough to comment on SP2's firewall?

Or is it better to go with a third party firewall such as Norton?

i don't think i'd trust MS with anything regarding security on my computer. They've shown an inability to handle even basic security. Even if you just download the free version of ZoneAlarm you're likely to get better protection than the SP2 firewall.

I used to use ZA until some stability concerns came up with versions 4 and 5 tho I've heard some of that has been fixed. I went with Sygate which works nicely for me. Looks like Sygate 5.6 has stability issues as well so find a download of 5.5.

Yes ZA seems ok now. But I hear that SP2 causes problems with ZA.
