Hi everyone,

I am new to the game so may but it looks real good and I can't wait playing it.

I know the game does not have the rights to use real players' name and that there is a file we can use to get the real names. However I am wondering why the real life players, when you begin the game , don't have their career statistics.

would'nt it be nice to have Favre, Smith or Rice's real stats ? That way we could compare Joe quarteback's career in 2020 with those of Manning and Favre, the complete stats ?

The same thing apply for the teams ? We could compare our hall of fame team with the dynasties of the 70s , 80s and 90s ...

If FOF is a fiction continuity of the real NFL , I think it would be interesting to have the real record book ? To have all of Favre's career , and not the last 2 or 3 seasons ?

I understand it cound not be in the original game, but is it because it is too much work or not possible to do technically that nobody did it already ? Because if it is possible to do it, I would be interested in doing it, may be not every player, but may be 200 (the great ones and the young good ones).

Is this something nobody cares about ?

Anyway that was my 2 cents ...

Frank

I think a lot of people would love to have this in, but in order to do it it would require a lot of work. First, we'd have to reverse engineer the data files to see how the stats are stored and how they are accessed by the game for each player. Then, we'd have to input them according to the year file.

And then there's figuring out how the game stores and loads the records, hall of fame and then inputing that data as well.

I'd like to have it, I've thought about doing it, but realistically it would be far too much work considering all my other "free-time projects".
