Really? Wow. Wow. I wonder if he's really got the flu or their pulling shananigans to cover Joey and let McMahon play. Conspiracy!! Either way, I'm just happy to actually be able to watch the game! I hate the Vikings. I would love to beat them, but it wont happen. The Lions are poop.

I rarely watch football on TV (unlike my wife and son) but I decided to watch the 2nd half of the Donkeys/Chiefs game (go KC). All I see is a few seconds of football between 12 commercials. that was an excellent catch and run.... although I don't think he was in at the end of the run....

I don't either, but I can see how it wasn't worth challenging by Detroit. If they were to lose, they're down to one timeout and no challenges until the two minute warning. Best case scenario puts Minnesota at the 6, which although they could have scored, I don't think it's worth the risk/reward.

Plus I have Burleson on my fantasy team going against Culpepper, so it's important that if Culpepper throws a TD it goes to Burleson. :D

Jermaine Wiggins and Moe Williams are two guys on the Vikes offense who typically won't do anything amazing, but they just offer consistant performances and are they to make plays when they're needed. Barring a huge comeback, we're just 19 minutes of football away from knowing for sure that the NFC will be represented by an 8-8 or worse team.

And also knowing for sure that at least 2 AFC teams will miss the playoffs at at least 8-8.

You are a little late on this comment. The Packers defense blows this year much more then last year. Favre is tryingto damn hard and has made some of the worst throws since his first couple years.

This year has been the most frustrating season I can remember. 1-4 followed by a pretty nice winning streak, and now they are going to back into the playoffs stinking up the joint because the NFC only has 2 good teams and one semi-good one.

The last few weeks I have seen Favre react to things in a way he usually has not done. You can see how frustrated he is, and it would not suprise me if this is his last season.

And as I type this, Darius needs a fine for that clothesline of Furgeson, that was horrible!!

Haslett coached Saints teams are officially the most confusing teams in the history on the NFL. Surely they can't make the playoffs? i thought they might sneak in before the year started, but after looking so bad at parts in the season, it would be quite a miracle now if they win the next two games and pull it off.

Closing in on 900 passing yards total in Oakland. I'm not watching the game, but have the officials taken the new rules a step farther and demanded that cornerbacks play with their arms behind their backs?

The only way it means something is if they lose to the Vikings and then the Vikings were to lose to Washington and Green Bay were to beat Chicago. Now in this situation the Vikings would win the division on common opponents tie breaker, if they were to have beat Jacksonville they would win the division in this case.

Cringer

It means a lot to the players, and to a lesser extent their fans. Next week is a must win now to win the division, and a must win in Minnesota is not a good place for the Packers to have one of those.

Although the Packers are pretty much in the playoffs no matter what I think, but what is important now is to go in on a high note, which they definetly are not on right now. Obviously this defense couldn't help win a championship, but a win in the playoffs would be nice.

That didn't come out quite like I meant it. I didn't really mean that they didn't care about the game, I meant that the loss wasn't really all that big of a deal when you look at the big picture. Ultimately, the division was probably coming down to Friday's game no matter what.

He may have to if he wants the Colts to have the highest scoring team of all time. They need 41.5 points per game to eclipse the 1998 Vikings total of 556 points.

I don't think, I know he was doing it against the Texans the first time the two teams met.

That said, if the Colts gave Edge the ball more often inside the 10, we could be talking about one of the all time great single seasons by a running back in the history of the NFL while Peyton would still have a shot at the yardage record and toss 35+ TD's.
