Hmm- when you search for prices you have the option of searching for 1 way or round trip - if you entered a return date, its a round trip. The other simple way is to see if there flights it shows you are clustered on 2 dates (departure and return) or just 1 (departure)...

I had a quick question about services such as Orbitz, Hotwire and other online plane ticket services:
When you figure out where you are going and the duration of your stay (for a round trip), it gives you a price. Is that price for a round trip or for one way only? I looked on Orbitz for a flight to Halifax from Minneapolis. I got a price of about $364.00. It doesn't say anywhere that it is the price for a one way or not. The itenerary did show my return flight and schedule.
Anybody have some insight to this? Thanks a bunch.

Well, i do know that the dates are indeed correct...and that i click 'round trip'. It just seems really cheap to go to halifax and BACK to minneapolis for 400 dollars.
hey- before you pay, you'll get to see a summary of the flights. and if it seems cheap- dude, that's what the internet does- those wonderful fares your travel agent offered before are now being tested on the market... :D

Unless you pick oneway, it should round trip. To make sure that it is correct, click the flight you want and theory and often the return time at a low price is at 6am or 10pm departing and a better arrival time is more expensive

Pennsylvania to Arizona (roundtrip) and traveling on one of the busiest days of the year (Jan. 2) for only $340 !!!
However;
State College Pa, ---> Cincinatti, OH, ---> Dallas, TX, ---> Pheonix, AZ
Pheonix, AZ ---> Cincinatti, OH, ---> Detriot, MI (wtf???) ---> State College, PA
Multiple 3+ hour layovers, and some 6 a.m. departures and 12:30 am arrivals. Looks like I'll be spending my winter break in several of our country's fine aero-bars.
