SE vs FL position

for receivers what the difference between SE and FL?

what type of receiver would you put at SE? and at FL?

I would put a Flanker in the FL and Split end at SE.

i've always thought of a flanker as the possession guy, split end as the big play guy.

and isn't the second split end the 3rd receiver?

and isn't the second split end the 3rd receiver?By default, the #2 flaker is the #3 wide receiver; the #2 split-end is the #4 wide receiver.
Of course, the game planning gives you enough room to mess around for single formations to rotate the roles.
