MXS, the scenario paintball producer I work (for comped games and other minor perks) for, is needing a new publicist. Basically, you are on the field, take action photos, talk to players to find out what's going on during the course of the game, and ship off your stuff to various paintball magazines for publication. There are something like 15 games a year. Basically, it's a weekend of work/writing/etc for a little bit of cash, and a chance to See Things/Meet People.
Obviously not an option for someone with a fulltime job, but it'd be perfect for a freelance type individual who can be gone for a few days here and there.
Figured I'd pass this along, maybe someone here'd be interested.

Finally, we are in need of a publicist for 2005. This person must have
writing and photography skills, and must be able to travel to every game.
Stories and photographs must be sent to the paintball publications within 3
weeks after each event. There are monetary compensations for travel, as well
as monetary compensation from the magazines submitted to. A contractual
agreement must be signed. Contact me for more information if
you - or someone you know - has an interest in filling this position.
