Yep, I had Clayton as well. Provided that McNabb doesn't have a great game tomorrow night, I think I'll be in a Yahoo Champion League too. Maybe I'll see you there, Ragone. :)

My last team standing looks like a winner -- the el foldo by the Volek-Bennett combo paved the way for what looks like a pretty easy win in the championship game, assuming Trry Holt doesn't go Stephon Paige on us tomorrow night.

In my first final, brees and muhammad came up big for me, tiki was reliable for a change, but the rest of my team has some issues. I have antonio byrant going now and have Holt remaining, but if Bryant doesn't step it up I will need a monster game from holt to have a chance.

Right now I'm down 11 w/ Holt left from MNF, opponent has Akers.

My other league is the full keeper league I love and have been touting here a bit recently:

Up 17 now with Jason Taylor going, opponent has Bulger and PHI Safety Michael Lewis tomorrow. I would love to see a big play by Taylor to extend that lead by a bit.

Glad somebody had some luck ... it appears that mine my have run out one week too soon.

Witness -- My 3rd seed makes it to the title game, only to have:
Larry Fitzgerald (15 pts) sit in favor of Randy Moss (7 pts) & Houshmanzadeh (0 pts)
and the Steelers hold the Ravens to just seven points, but manage only 1 INT in the way of big plays.

And my #1 seed gets the championship, only to have:
WR's Bennet, Porter, and Moss combine for just 16 pts, while Burleson's 11 pts languished on the bench
QB Manning gets sacked 4x and picked once and in spite of 2 TD's, was not as good a play as the guy he beat IRL ... the same guy who was sitting on my bench today.

I WON!

What makes this hilarious is that in an 8-team league, I finished dead last with a 4-9 record but the Commish fucked up and put 8 teams in the playoffs!!! I then went on to beat team #1, #4 and #7 in the Champhionship!
What makes this even better is the fact that i was the one who called the commish out on this setting early on in the season...but other owners did not overturn the decision...
AH AH AH!

It's another Yahoo league I'm in, with 7 other guys. We were all in Dresden, Germany on a project together back in 1999 and have played every season since, even though we 're now scattered all over the world. We play for bragging rights only and this year is really a great scenario to talk trash... :D

And congrats on your EURO FOFC win!

I screwed up and started Hasselback who didn't play but I had a huge week from Dominic Davis. I am up by 9 and my opponent has Holt tonight.

I almost did the same thing with Hasselbeck. Luckily, I put in Trent Green right before that Chiefs game because I heard Oakland's corners were both out. Green threw an interception and fumbled, but he threw for two touchdowns and over three hundred yards, so I can't complain, especially given my alternative.

I have 1 team that will win it's league and one that needs a miracle game by McNabb

The other team is up 125-96 but he's done and I have McNabb.

I couldn't believe how well your team did minus a QB. But lets hope Torry Holt can end this cinderella season :) It is awesome though that our title game will come down to one guy on MNF.

Final Results (for me):

3 Yahoo Public Leagues: one First, one Second (damn you Fred Taylor) and one Seventh

One Keeper League (amongst friends): First

Not a bad year. I attribute my success to good drafting, especially amongst WRs. In my keeper league I ended up with 3 #1 WRs drafted and starting as others were drafting their 5th RB or 2nd or even 3rd string WRs.

Go me! :)

2nd in yahoo league, 1st in keeper league (and like 6th in a 3rd league that I drafted poorly in w/ some college buddies)

Cougar and I are sweating out any last minute stat corrections and adjustments by Yahoo! before I'll be declaring victory in our league. After Monday night's action, the score is currently 136.65 to 136.60 -- a mere passing yard separating us.

I won my season finale by three passing yards after a last minute stat correction credited my defense with an additional sack, so I refuse to declare victory quite yet. Regardless, this was an exciting finale.

I pounded Nequa pretty hard in the RWBL championship game, but I'm not entirely sure Nequa knew that so it somewhat cheapens the victory. I'm taking credit it for it in the same way MrBug says Nequa takes credit for the Cubs in the RWBL. http://dynamic.gamespy.com/%7Efof/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

What an unreal finish. 113-112. I am pumped that I won but what a great fight. Great season everyone. I can't wait for next year.

I'm pretty well despondent fantasy-football wise after championship week ... I had superstitiously avoided saying anything specific about it, but one of my two finalists was a team that had gone 14-0 in the regular season, only 3 wins by less than 10 points all year, a 115-55 win in the semi-finals, with Manning, Moss, & Dillon all raring to win it all.

Instead, I suffer a dismal 71-67 loss to the #3 seed.

The WR's were key -- Moss, Porter, Bennett combine for 16, but he gets 21 from Muhammed, Houshmanzadeh, and Ward. The RB spot wasn't pretty either -- Dillon/J.Jones = 4 pts to Tomlinson/Pittman = 22.
