You heard it here first.

Where they are drafting right now, they are in a legitimate position to get him. However they need to play to their potential and get drilled by the Giants.

So if you are a Boys fan pray for a beatdown.

I hope they look at trading up and grabbing a cornerback or staying put and taking a safety.

I think Derrick Johnson is outstanding, but I hope they don't take him. They have many other, far more pressing, needs, in my opinion.

QB, WR, TE, OL, DL, LB, CB, S, P, K?

Very funny, very funny.

I would list QB, CB, S, DE, WR, DL in that order. I'm very happy with the TE situation, and while the offensive line has struggled on the right side at times, I have high hopes for Jacob Rogers' emergence and Andre Gurode playing as he's capable.

Dallas always goes with cheap kickers, and I have no major issue with Billy Cundiff. For the value, he's fine. McBriar has been solid at punter, and I actually think they have a little bit of nice depth at linebacker.

As an addendum, even though I listed QB as the first priority, I would agree with what a lot of people have said about this year's quarterback class available in the draft. Dallas will have two first round picks, and I sincerely hope they do not use one one a quarterback, and that's even if Leinart comes out. I would much prefer them to maybe bring in a veteran FA with a little experience and hand over the job to Drew Henson. Even if he's not the guy, they need to find out sooner or later, and what's the point in bringing in yet another inexperience QB unless he's a can't-miss. From my perspective, I don't see any of those available in the draft.

Just my $.02.

...Drew Henson. Even if he's not the guy, they need to find out sooner or later...

Don't worry, he isn't.

You're probably right. Although I haven't seen him much personally, with the exception of preseason, the Baltimore game, and the Thanksgiving game, I think the fact that Parcells isn't giving him playing time has to be pretty telling. Say what you will about Parcells, but he's been around for a while. I would think that if he even had a bit of optimism for Henson, he would give him more of an opportunity.

That said, though, do you agree or disagree with me that "the guy" is not in this year's rookie class?

I heard if they drop Vinnie, Y.A. Tittle may be Parcell's number one replacement choice.
