Favorite current NBA or NFL or MLB or college player you like to watch?

I'll give one from each:
Allen Iverson is my favorite player to watch. He's got the most skill in the NBA.

Bonds is up there too, being at SBC when he's up at bat is an amazing experience.

Sean Taylor, the guy is like 240 and a FS. In his short career he's been fun to watch.

During the 2004 season, Adrian Beltre was my favorite Dodger to watch. I went to around 8 or 9 games during the latter half of the season, and that place was just electric after a Beltre homer. Plus, his twinkletoes move when he was trying to lay off an outside pitch was absolutely hilarious.

For college football, even though I'm a Mizzou fan, Reggie Bush is just dynamite.

I can't think of too many players from the categories mentioned that I currently go out of my way to watch. Peyton's fun to watch for a little while. Past players I used to enjoy watching were Lou Whitaker, Tony Phillips, and Barry Sanders.

For watching individuals, I think the best sport is tennis. On the men's side, Roger Federer is fun to watch for awhile, because he's so versatile and so very, very talented. However, his games normally turn to routs quickly. Roddick is fun too, if only to see him light up the radar gun. Agassi in his prime was the best at chopping up not-so-hot players, making impossible shots with some regularity. He doesn't do that quite as much anymore, alas. I also like watching the clay court specialists on their native surface.

On the women's side, I enjoy watching the Williams sisters when they're playing well. The problem is they often have stretches - sometimes long ones - where they don't play so well and I mumble at the TV in frustration. I also like Chanda Rubin, but I haven't seen her play in a long time (I think she's been hurt).

But my absolute favorite player to watch play - and you're going to think I'm nuts for saying so - is Anastasia Myskina (http://www.wtatour.com/players/playerprofiles/playerbio.asp?PlayerID=130533). Not so much for her play - which is very good, usually - but when things go sour. She does the usual things - throw her racket, yell, scream - but she has a trick that's all her own. She'll point in the stands at her coach (and former boyfriend) as if to imply that it's all his fault. Trust me, it's all hilarious, in a train wrecky sort of way.

Manning and Artest or Reggie are the obvious choices from my own teams, but I think everyone is biased that way. For guys who don't play for teams I like I'd have to say Vick for football and probably Yao Ming for basketball. I don't think Vick is much more than an average QB, but he's a lot of fun to watch.

Peyton Manning and Vick are fun to watch. LT is my favorite running back. Zach Thomas is my favorite LB. Randle El is my favorite WR.

Basketball -- ummm, nobody. But if pressed, Yao Ming I guess.

Baseball - Schilling, but only in the playoffs. It is impossible to watch baseball during the regular season without slipping into a coma.

NFL - Michael Vick. He may not do much for 59 minutes of the game, but when that magical play devleops, it's an amazing sight to watch.

NBA - Tim Duncan and Lebron James (tie). Duncan for his amazing footwork. James for his court vision.

MLB - Barry Bonds. Each at bat is potential history. I don't care about BALCO - I think most baseball players are juiced.

NHL - Garry Betman. After all, he's the only one playing.

Finally, I just love watching Keith Folke underhanding the ball to Doug Meinkewitz. Over and over and over again on replay.

NFL - Jerome Bettis
Nothing else comes close to seeing him in his prime except for vague recollections of Earl Campbell. I can't describe how impressed I've been with him this year.

NBA - I haven't seen more than five minutes of a game since Jordan retired from the Bulls.

MLB - Biggio/Bagwell
True throwback gamers who could have gone elsewhere for more money. When they retire I'll probably go with Berkman.

Having Randle El was about the only redeeming quality for IU Football over the past 10 years.

Manning & Vick are about the only reason's I'll watch an NFL game other than the whole "there's nothing else on" scenario. Those two, though, I watch on purpose.

In the NBA, there's really nobody that makes me watch, but I'll occasionally watch a few minutes of Lebron out of curiosity. But that's a pretty rare occasion.

There's really no one college player, in football or basketball, that I'll watch just to see them specifically. I enjoy watching Calvin Johnson at Ga Tech abuse DB's, and I used to really like watching Jared Lorenzen be his freak of nature self when he was at Kentucky - there was another QB last year, somewhere in the SEC maybe(?), that I enjoyed watching kinda the same way. Eli Manning is probably the only other guy I've specifically enjoyed in the past few years, but I basically watch for teams, not players.

In MLB, it's teams & situations & the game itself that I watch for, not really players. But the one guy that I'll always stop & watch is Greg Maddux (at least until I see he's having one of those not-so-pretty nights). Watching him pitch in his prime was, by a wide margin, the most beautiful & enjoyable thing I've ever seen in sports.
