Eh, I drink Diet Dew for the taste not the low-cal. I just prefer it to the regular, much the way I developed a preference for Diet Coke over regular that lasted for years (although it's swung back the other direction in the past 2-3 years).

Just finished some deviled chicken (basically chicken breasts dipped in a curry/spicy mustard mix and baked) and rice. Got an orange and some buttermilk flavored pretzels for an afternoon snack.
Yesterday I had some of my wife's homeade speghetti with meatballs. She is an italian food savant. I wouldn't trust her to boil water properly, but when it comes to italian she makes the best dishes I've ever had...and she's not italian.

Quizno's? Blech. Big, stale, dry sandwich. They need to learn from Carl Jr's when it comes to putting on the ingredients and sauces and such. Something to break up all that dry bread. (I would quote the old Carl Jr.s slogan, but y'all would crucify me with lewd wink-wink comments about it.)
When I wasn't working from a home office and had to be downtown, I used to love saving money on lunch with the two-eleven special. A double-stack with cheese and a biggie fry, both off the 99-cent menu at Wendy's. It filled me up and cost a grand total of $2.11 with tax. I considered buying a roll of dimes and pennies to keep in my car, I ate the two-eleven so often.

Today I have to work lunch, so I'll probably be having a bowl of Zuppa Toscana with a ton of Romano and Tobasco in it and some Chicken Parm...I've learned that the best time to clean it (and any grill, for that matter) is while it's still hot. As soon as I take the food off the grill, I run a wet sponge along the grill and the excess grime wipes right off.
