Yea, that last minute was crazy. The Indiana kid should have missed that FT.

What was the deal with the foul on the last shot. A buddy called me and said that the guy clearly had the ball with 00 on the clock, and then said that the officials called the foul on the replay...not during live action.
I came here to see what the deal was. Is my friend nuts?

True but how do the Hoosiers allow that long pass? You should NEVER allow that pass to go behind you if you are on defense. It looked like he wanted to catch the ball as opposed to just knocking it the other way

Foul was called before the shot. If you get a chance to look at the replay, the ref at on the bottom sideline called a foul. Once the foul is called, it becomes a continuation play, clock become irrelevant

No, the foul was called during the original play. They saw on the replay that the foul occured with time left on the clock and and the continuation that led to the basket happened at 0.00. Since the clock stops as soon as a foul is called the basket was good.
I hope that I explained that clearly enough.

Sorry meant to say during the shot

Is it still a technical foul if you just bang a free throw off the glass? I mean like making a football type pass of the glass from the line

Apparently you guys missed the game about a month ago against charlotte in which we had clinched winning the game with .7 seconds left and we lost :) That right with .7 seconds they thew the ball to a guy at half court and he turned and swished it...anyway we barely pulled it out today...finally were .500 And its always great to beat Purdue.

That would have been piss poor if we had lost. Especially since all we had to do to win was miss a free throw.
