1) In Big Fish why was the girl's Ass So Huge? When he returns to the town for the 2nd time and sees the little girl grown up into a young lady she has an ass that is completely oversized. When they sit down to eat at the table I thought she was not going to be able to sit in her chair, because her Ass has become so huge. What is this supposed to mean?
2) In The Terminal why didn't the fountain work? The only reason I can come up with is that it just did not look good on film.
I do not know. Just 2 movie moments that I have never been able to figure out.

1 - Don't remember the oversized butt. Then again I was only half paying attention through the whole movie.
2 - The fountain probably didn't work as a metaphor for their relationship. Looked promising but ultimately didn't work.

That's pretty smart. I hadn't thought of it that way.

I don't recall the large ass in Big Fish at all...

1 - Yup. Big behind. I think it was because they wanted to show that time had past and that you can't just reconstruct a perfect place. I think Spectre was like a utopia, fell into disrepair, and then Ewan tried to make it back into that perfect place. I think her ass represents how things have fundamentally changed, outside of the storefronts. I agree that those hindquarters were way too large to not represent something.
2 - I agree with tategter.

See, this is why it's not a good idea to invite your significant other to a message board with you.
