I can't tell you how many times I've heard from Mama: "I've got four boys, and more than any of 'em, you are your Daddy's son." I drove my poor mother crazy at times, I'm quite sure. She never could truly get mad at me, because on the surface I was an "All-American kid," but man, did I get under her skin.
