That link is what transpired a few weeks ago. He's been on the radio and now the hot seat on ESPN. I'm just tired of him running his mouth. He wants out of here, fine get the f out of here.

I saw the interview, I can't remember all of it but I'll try to repeat what comes to mind. (paraphrased)

Who is the best coach in the league?
Turley: Belichick
If you were ranking NFL coaches where would you rank Mike Martz?
Turley: Is there an expansion next season? If so I'd rank him 33rd.
Some question about what the dispute was about.
Turley: He basically said that I was faking the injury and stealing from the team. (He then started talking about guaranteed contracts and made some comment about Jason Giambi taking steroids and bascially screwing the Yankees out of 80 million)
Do you see yourself ever playing for Martz again?
Turley: We have been in a pissing match for awhile and while I've tried to end it he seems to want to keep bringing it up.

So Turley is 2 of 3 with hating his NFL head coach to the point of not playing for them. And the one NFL coach he was ok with? Mike Ditka. One day Turley will realize that HE is the problem. But probably not, for a tough guy he really is a whiny baby.

From what I gathered when he started talking about contracts he stated (I am paraphrasing)

I was injured, Martz said no I wasn't called me a thief and he mumbled some additional crap that didn't amount to much.

But he did get down to where his injury did affect him. It was the fact, their contract is not guranteed, he is not about to risk 4 million in a year for a potential 250,000 a year income from workmans comp due to a disability.

So to me...it was this.

I was hurt, I wanted to get better, I don't see ruining my body more than I already do and potentially losing out on a lot of money. If I do ruin my body, I get money (more than most people see yearly, but less than what I would have gotten if I was healthy) from workmans comp

OH, and he said T.O. would be an idiot if he played with the injury.
