BRING BACK COMPLAINING ABOUT REFEREES FOR FM06 (or whatever it's called)
God, some referees are only alive because it's not recommended to delete them from the freaking database....

Oh, it's mutual. The good thing about FM not being real life is that I could go into all the things I want to do to Mr. Mark Cooper, a League Two referee, and not get banned for it.

Somehow i can see this
"Tonight on Foz, Hanging Mr Cooper"

Thank you for making the joke for me. I considered it in poor taste ;)
But god, I really wish I could complain to the FA. I mean, I've drawn this tool in three games. In that time frame, we have 14 yellow cards and two reds. The opponents? 5 and 0 respectfully. In that time, I've had four injuries of players due to opponents challenges (where it said "It was caused by "X"'s challenge") # of yellows for that? Zero.

He has been a jerk to me too.

Want to take up a collection, Eaglesfan27? Maybe a Harrogate/Bristol joint task force to inform Mr Cooper of what we collectively think of him? :D

Sounds like a plan :)

And the game assigns Cooper to my next game where despite setting to easy tackling, I get six yellows. Grimsby committed more fouls, but didn't get a single yellow.
I swear, SI does this on purpose because they get more sales when people go off the deep end and snap the CD in two out of frustrated rage.
I was joking on that last line.
I think I was, at least.

Nah, they're not that evil. But I'm quite certain those of us who got complimentary copies got a 'special' version where there's some sort of invisible force field that randomly materializes in front of the opposing goal, to encourage us to buy a working retail copy. ;)
(All kidding aside, finally spending some time with FM this weekend left me a little depressed about how far NHL:EHM has to go to catch up. Damn, I love the new media interaction.)

We don't have refs fixing matches yet ;)
I'm not sure what stats we have for Robert Hoyzer though ;)

I don't think they're fixing them as much as they are just absolutely shite.
Although, I'm expecting future FM version to have an internal 'Mike Riley' rating for referees. :D
PS - And, yes, I'll be needing the complaining about the referee feature so I third that request/petition to bring back that feature.

HAH! HOO HAH even :)
Found this post from a referee forum from May.
Frazer Stretton and Mark Cooper have been removed from the football league through marks apparently.
So good luck find another job, Cooper you blankety blanker :)

I want this feature back as well. In my Bury career using CM 03/04, I had 3 straight matches where a player of mine got red carded (none of them double yellows). The ref was the same in each of those matches.
It also happened in FM, again me being manager of Bury. I lose a player to a red card in the first 10 minutes of a first round cup match, which was then followed by two players getting double yellows in the first 30 minutes of my next league match. The ref? Oh yeah, same guy. Although different guy than the one in CM 03/04.
I want to be able to make a comment to the media, so my supporters can hunt him down. :)
