Since I have a top of the line new computer that I got for Christmas, I'm going to try playing all leagues.
However, I selected all countries and chose the lowest leagues available for each country and when I go to start, it says I've selected 114 leagues in 51 countries, yet the manual says there's 158 playable leagues. Any idea where the other 44 leagues are?

What is your specs on that labtop?
I think you would need one of NASA's mainframes to run all leagues.

.... It appears that you're right.
The game just froze up on me ;)
So I should just go with the recommended amount of leagues then that WSM 2005 gives me?

dola,
Just out of curiosity, what's the max # of leagues people have been able to run?
On my new custom built comp that I got for Christmas, it recommends 23 leagues

my computer does pretty well, although I don't run the recommended amount of leagues, I just run the ones I care about from major nations. Which comes out to 19 leagues. I would like to know which nations other people run because most of my soccer knowledge comes from the EPL, I don't know about the relative strength of leagues in other nations. Although I do have limited knowledge of the major euro ones (Germany, Spain, Italy, France and Portugal). Heres the list of nations and leagues I run. Hopefully someone has some suggestions on other nations that would be important:
England-Priemer to league 2
Italy-First and second divisions
Spain-First and second divisions
Germany-First and second divisions
France-First and second divisions
Portugal-First and second divisions
Holland-First and second divisions
Scotland-First and second divisions
USA-I gotta keep track of the homeland.
