This just further supports my theory that all of Hollywood hates Ron Eldard.
I mean seriously, Blind Justice?

The who is in the what now?
It's a new show coming out on ABC.
It's about a cop, who becomes blind, and has to work with a seeing eye dog, and no one wants to partner with him because they think he's a liability.
And it's called.....Blind Justice.

I saw the commercial for this. It looks like a Saturday Night Live spoof.

My appologies. Ron Eldard is the "star" of the show. He was supposed to be the next big thing like 10 years ago. He was in that awfull show with Justine Bateman and Rob Schneider. He was supposed to be big but apparently had a bad attitude and nobody really wanted to work with him. And now he's starring in, as Swaggs put it, A SNL skit masquerading as a network drama.

Seriously though, who doesn't want a blind detective on the case? :)
When the hell was Ron Eldard the next big thing? 'Men behaving badly' was just an other medicore sitcom. Eldard has worked pretty consistantly as an actor since 1989 and appeared in two of my all-time favorite war movies, Black Hawk Down and When Trumpets Fade. It sounds like he should avoid network TV work and stick to movies and HBO (When Trumpets Fade HBO Films).

When I first saw the commercial I thought they were remaking "Longstreet". Anyone else remember that one?

This just has loser written all over it. I like Ron Elard. I kinda liked Men Behaving Badly. I think he should have just run, and run quickly away from this script. Maybe he has bills to pay, and needed the work.
As for Longstreet. I don't remember it, but if this reminds you of it, then that is probably why.

Ron Eldard held up pretty well in House of Sand and Fog, as I recall. (He was the cop)
He was pretty good in... hmmm... cult-following movie, dark comedy, group of young people invite various despicable dinner guests and kill them...frow tomatoes in the back yard... feh.
