When drafting a player, do you care what college the player went to? If you do care, who much do you care?

In real life, I would rate someone who played for a division 1 school higher than someone who played for a division 3 school (all other things being equal). Is this modeled in the game at all?

I only care when I see a player from the state of Michigan. I ALWAYS draft players from MSU, Grand Valley, and Western Michigan, and I NEVER draft players from UofM and Central Michigan.

But then again, I'm wierd.

If i am not playing a challenge where it matters than it doesn't make one bit of difference to me. Jerry Rice is considered by some to be the greatest football player every and he come from a small school(and there are alot more examples).

I never check. I never care.

Castlerock, it really doesn't matter because the draft files are generated randomly, so the school from where the player comes from doesn't really matter at all.

It only matters when importing from TCY, and only then because it helps you judge how strong their competition and surrounding cast were towards generating their stats.
