I just noticed on gmail that the four invites I had are gone. Now there is a box under my labels that says "Invite a friend... 50 left." FIFTY!!! I don't think I know 50 people!!!

another web based mail acccount. I personally like it because a) it's not blocked from work, unlike yahoo and b) the gmail notifier firefox extension.

still officially in beta, but like someone above said, it's probably going to be live soon.

I don't know the fact that it works flawlessly with firefox is good enough for me to stay with it.

I love it, but what I meant to say was that by the time it goes live everybody will have five accounts. Then, because there will be nothing "special" about it anymore. It'll be just another email service (but one that works!)

Thanks guys, I got quite a few invites.

Personally, I think I still prefer the fastmail interface (though perhaps gmail will grow on me), but it was just too limiting in terms of # of contacts and bandwith.
