Not to go down the whole x-box v ps2 debate line again, but in regard the latest range of sport console games - such as ESPN nhl2k5 and nfl2k5... do these play/look any better/worse on the x-box than the ps2 or they just basically the same. Even Winning Eleven 8 for that matter?
Have really enjoyed nfl2k5 on my ps2 and nhl2k5 is excellent... just wondering if they vary much by console.
Thanks

Some will swear they play faster or look better on each console of choice. If you have the HD for the ps2 I think you get the extras that the Xbox gets for games like NFL 2k5 (replays).
I traded my ps2 for an Xbox, mainly for the HD and built in network adapter. I still prefer the original ps2 controller to the standard Xbox one. However, I purchased a logitech wireless controller and really have grown to love it.
I always thought the Xbox catered to sports games enthusiasts, but now that Microsoft stopped making most of its sports game, their about even.
Edit: If you own a HD TV, the Xbox will look better with the HD adapter than the ps2 will with component cables.

I own both and I check out both versions of each sports game before buying, and IMHO the Xbox version almost always looks somewhat better.

Sega games generally look better on Xbox. ESPN 2k5 has replays, which is cool. Custom soundtracks are also nice. Overall, for the Sega games, I think they are better on Xbox. I prefer EA sports games on PS2, especially because I love the DS2 controller and am not comfortable with the Xbox controller.

Like most of the guys above, I think the games look better on an XBox but I prefer the PS2 controller. The hard drive on the XBox is nice, and usually ends up being what seals the deal for me.
