I'm gonna go out for a few beers tonight.

I'm going to be charged for most of them.

I'm going to pay for those beers with money that your tax dollars provided me.

Thank you, have a nice day. :)

I just want you to know that I'm an angry taxpayer and I pissed in your beer while slaving away in the brewery to pay unemployment taxes. ;)

Nope, unemployment. Oh and by the way CW, you are actually getting back at your former employer. THEY are the ones that pay unemployment.

I just want to thank everyone for paying for my college education with your tax dollars. It's nice that I don't have to work at 28 and only attend classes while doing the assignments with them. As a matter of fact, you guys paid for my rent.

Have a nice day. ;)

Really? In Canada, the premiums come out of my gross pay. My boss has to match what I pay into CPP (like your social security I guess) but the employment insurance is up to the employee. Good deal for you guys.

Ex-Employer pays most, but tax money pays some.

I get my first uneployment check next week ;). I'd rather be employed though.

I don't buy beer. I spend all that money on t-bone steaks and hookers.
