I am so over all this steroid talk. I am a huge baseball fan and I don't want to see the game tainted at all, but I am so sick of hearing about it. This is the time of year when the talk should be about who made the best off season moves and who has the best chance of winning etc... I bought a fantasy baseball magazine today and it actually had a section on what players performance may drop off because they can't use steroids anymore. Give me a break, I have always been more of a fan of pitching anyway, but I am so over it all, just make it go away.

The way to make it go away is to enact a tough steroid policy like the NFL has. Unfortunately Mr. Compromise put in something akin to the honesty policy.

Why did you post about it, if you're sick of hearing about it? :)

I'm sick of baseball season interfering with my football watching in the fall. Please follow the NHL's lead and cancel the season.
;)
I agree that baseball needs to enact a steroid policy with teeth. And disregard records broken in the last 10-20 years or so.

I am not sick of steroid talk. If it takes an entire season of nothing but steroid talk to get everyone within MLB to truly see how badly they can damage the game by ignoring stuff like this for 20 years then its worth it.

The game wouldn't be tainted so bad if that players didn't use steroids

It will be nice to see some of the strategy come back into baseball with more low scoring games.
Personally, I doubt that I'll watch too much of the season. I'm pretty disappointed in where the game is heading. Obviously they don't care enough about the fan or the money we pay to implement a sound program to ensure this sort of thing stops. This along with some of my personal gripes with the lack of a salary cap has really turned me away from what was once my favorite sport.

Exactly what he said. I would like to see the whole thing exposed over the next couple of years and then get back to baseball again.
I feel completely suckered that I actually watched the McGwire/Sosa (the "roid race") homerun fest thinking it was legit. Screw MLB.
