Two different stories, but I thought people would be interested in.

First, go to this link (http://replacements.webprogram.com/en-us/programoverview.asp) if you own an Xbox from before 2004 I think. You may have a faulty power cord that could start a fire. Obviously, that would be bad. So Microsoft will send you a new one free. You need your serial number and Manufacture date, both are on the bottom of the Xbox.

Second, this should interest Skydog, who asked a couple days ago if you could convert .wma files to mp3's. Well, it seems you can, but in a round-about way. Just search google for "napster hack". Seems The last version of winamp with a plugin (easy to find) will let you record the .wma stream and make a near exact .wav copy of the file, unprotected. Then just turn that into .mp3, and your set. Now, Napster is denying this, but they're probably lying. Very easy way to get 1000 of legal/illegal songs. Napster has a free 14 day trial by the way. Once again, no instructions on how to do this, just passing info along, kind of like the dvd copying thread.
Google News Stories (http://news.google.com/news?q=hack+napster&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&sa=N&tab=nn&oi=newsr)

Anyway, comments?
