3 weeks until my yearly vacation to Boston! What an awesome town. We go every year for St.Patricks day. We see Dropkick Murphy's, get drunk and rowdy and have an awesome time. I never have seen police as tolerant as they are in Boston for St. Patricks day weekend.

Lucky you. Although you can see the Dropkick Murphys at least 200 days a year in Beantown. Everytime I check out the events, they are playing somewhere around here.

The second drunkest I've been in Boston was on St. Patty's day at Kitty O'Shea's. I started at like 4PM and had to call it quits too early.

True, but I live in Texas, so to see them in Boston is quite the treat. The drunkest I've ever been was last year on St Patricks day, it was at The Bell in Hand, I started at 11:00 in the morning and finished at 2:00 am completley blitzed and on the streets of Boston with no shirt on.

Sounds like everyday at the office for me.

The only time I've wound up in jail was on Saint Patty's day three years ago... :(

just don't get it that's all. they should call it beer day.

Feast of St. Patrick my ass.

"St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17, his religious feast day and the anniversary of his death in the fifth century. The Irish have observed this day as a religious holiday for thousands of years."

which show are you going to? I've got tickets for the Friday night show with the Skels and the Bluebloods. The 18th. Should be a blast. I don't even know how many times i've seen the Murphys, but they are always amazing. Qutie eager to see the Skels as well, since it has been more than a year since i've seen them. We'll have to meet up at some point for a few beers or some whiskey or something

On a side note, i'm heading up to Boston to catch Social Distortion and the Street Dogs (front by ex-DKM singer Mike McColgan) tonight and tomorrow night

We're going to the saturday afternoon show with Far From Finished and the unseen. Last year the show was crazy and I expect the same. I've seen them a few times since then and it is always amazing.

I'm always up for a shot of Jamison's and some beers. About 9 of us go up, so it usually gets pretty crazy. Hit me up with a PM when it gets closer.

When you're Blood alcohol level is 2.5 for four days straight you tend not to notice the weather.
