The band that does that song was on Today this morning. That song is number one in a numbers of countries right now.

I'm not sure whether I should be happy being from the same country...

FWIW, that song is Romanian, as all of Europe learned last Summer. That song is over, done, finito, into the trash can of single luck songs to never ever be aired on the radio again.

I hate to do this but...

I passed this along to my mom, and she loved it, but what she really liked was the song. What is it and who is it by?

(I hate to know the correct spelling of it, I might even still have the lyrics on my laptop, blech.)

There's also a faster version from some other Romanian group, but that one didn't conquer Europe like the Macarena did a few years back.

I have to say, thanks to this clip I've got some great footage of my 5 year old dancing, and me bouncing my 9-month old around by the arms while she giggles uncontrollably. And, apparently my dad has this thing on repeat while he plays Chainz.

Who woulda thunk?

My daughter (5 yrs old) laughs her ass off when he first starts going nuts.....it's good ole family fun.... ;)
