Is this really necessary? It seems to me like it takes the files that are already in the leagues directory, makes copies of them, and puts the copies in your export directory. Can't I just take the files right out of my leagues directory and put them in a zip file from there? The export game files button takes a while to process, and if that's all it does, it seems like a waste of time to me.

Don't know...never tried. It only takes two seconds on my machine, so it's never been an inconvienience for me.

I've done it a few times now, and I haven't noticed any problems with it. Just wondering if anyone else does it the way I do it now.

If you're involved in more than one league, you're putting all of that data into the zip file. Plus any solo games you may be playing. Exporting Game Files gives you the smallest possible subset of your files in the league directory necessary to distribute.

I am involved in more than one league, but since I use a separate directory for all my leagues, there's really no confusion there. I'm only putting the 14 or 16 log and box files, and the 4 frfoot files. So I think I'm actually sending out a smaller subset than what 'export' gives me -- even when I did hit export, I still had to only choose the game files from the most recent week.
