I've noticed a significant increase in the number of potholes/sinkholes around town since the rains started. They aren't massive in size, but there are certainly more of them now than there were two weeks ago. That worries me more than the prospect of a slide.

I certainly hope we will.
I sure could use a vacation from this...

Interestingly, it's been sunny and mild for 3-4 weeks straight here in Seattle.
