I enjoy the gameplay, doesn't seem too hard or too easy, and like most games these days has sliders to edit all the settings... but I've found it to be very playable out of the box, unlike the case seems to be with most EA games. Tweaked the AI batting a little and have started a GM career.

Can't compare it with MVP since don't have that, but I did like that you are able to choose what kind of pitching/batting meters you use, have about 5 different ways to handle pitching in game and 2 ways to do the batting that you can pick from.

Presentation is solid, graphics are really nice as well. although the commetary seems to sometimes be a little glitchy, it fits in with the espn presentation.

Multiplayer franchise and gm career, which was a must for me.. HR derby with different play modes, solid create a player, haven't delved too deeply into the GM career mode, but it seems to be pretty indepht and interesting.

I consider it a great buy for 20 bucks.

I tried to buy it today, but they told me that only the x-box version is out. PS2 doesn't come out until Tuesday.

Is this the one that has the graphical manage-only mode?
