I remember when I used to like snow. I hate the fact that I hate snow. Another foot on it's way, all I can do is sit here, wait and try to find songs to sing to Sov. :(

Just warm enough here that we get a ton of cold rain... It's weird to find myself happy about that.. 10 years ago I'd be praying for that foot of snow..

I'd take some snow that changes to rain and washes it away.

Cold enough here, and we are getting some snow. Gotta love the option of working from home!

When you are a kid you get snow days. Adults don't get snow days. We have jobs where they either A) don't close, or B) close but expect you to some how make up that 8 hours of work.

Agree with A, disagree with B.

I guess I'm lucky. If we're off, we're off. :D

I'd take the snow.

33 degrees and raining in Charlotte, NC.

I haven't seen snow all winter...we've just missed a couple good ones by 2-4 degrees. Sucks!

the weatherpeople in DC have NO idea what it's going to do here. I've heard everything from 2 inches to 14 inches. It's been snowing for about 2 1/2 hours here in Old Town Alexandria, but nothing's sticking.

Nothing's sticking? Is it all the Peanut Butter?

Supposed to get 8 inches in C-Town. It's been pretty calm for the past month but it looks like that's about to change tonight... Just think - it's March tomorrow so that means spring is that much closer!!!!

Good snow in downtown Baltimore, but not sticking to the roads or sidewalks much. Hopefully the roads to stay good until I can leave work.

Hey Blackadar -- my wife is currently driving around Charlotte for another hour or so (checking billboard locations for an upcoming campaign) ... Should I have any worries about unexpected icy patches or anything? Or is this one filed solidly in the "rain only" category at this point?

If you see this in time for an answer, cool. If not, no sweat, just kinda wondering whether there's any reason to worry at all (I'm not currently worrying too much about it) & that's usually best told by a real person in the area instead of trying to get reality out of a distant city forecast/wx observations.

Residual damage from our SoCal storms...
They closed the road leading up to my house because there is a 10 foot fissure on the other side of the street and they think the hill may give way. Turned my half hour commute into an hour and a half this morning.

In Philly we have maybe 3 or 4 inches. It hasnt been snowing where I live for almost an hour now. Not quite the 8-12 they were calling for.

Some guy just tried to plow my road and the snow isnt even up the the rims on cars.

we got officially 4.3 inches in Burke, and there's still light snow falling (and probably will until about 1 a.m.). didn't even stick on the ground in Alexandria, however.
