Reading over EaglesFan27 dynasty,
Renegeration and how it works was being kicked around.

Is this process correct, in how it works:
(EaglesFan27): My understanding is somewhat limited so perhaps someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

My belief is that they regen as youth players (somewhere around 16 years old) and they don't have the skills yet, but they have the potential. Of course if they are a regen of a true superstar, their skills will look good for a 16 year old at that age. They can develop with any club, and sometimes even in different countries (I'm really not sure about that part.) They could develop at a low level club or a top tier club with a good youth academy.

Again, I hope someone will correct me if I misunderstood something about the process.

(Desnudo): The only thing I'd add is that I'm pretty sure that they don't automatically assume the same position they had before. So a SC could become a regen DMC. Just as long as they have the superstar potential. I'm not positive about it, but I think this change was an adjustment from the previous system in CM4.

Edited: Do the regeneration players come more from countries are becoming successful in International Play, or countries are dominating in UEFA/Club Competitions? Say if Greece, who won the Euro 2004 title, but never really was a big-time level club, will they get more of the "talented players" through regeneration, and if a team like France, would failed to quality, they would slip in talent in regeneration of the next crop? Or is it based on the countries rankings?

From what I've seen, it depends on the nations you have active leagues or retain players in. Mainly the best regen players seem to come from Brazil, Italy and Spain, in that order.

Regens are spread around the game 'world' for fairly obvious reason the general balance of the game world is kept (ie. if you're running MLS only then you'll have an American heavy database and so more American regens).

The actual ability levels of countries in the game world is kept 'relatively' static - however it does change sometimes for a while, especially for smaller nations who might be lucky enough to gain a quality player now and then ...

Thanks...Now, you mean the ability levels of the country's leagues (Premiership, the Swiss league, MLS, ect), or the nationalities of players and the quality of the international teams?

I was talking about the later, and wonder if countries (by countries-nationalities of players; international competition) can improve or decrease in the output of quality players based on any factors.
