I was wondering if you took your better half to that gondola place for Valentine's and if so, what was it like, was it worth it, etc.

Dangit, I've been meaning to thank you for that suggestion.
Yes, we went the weekend after Valentine's (that was part of the reason for my disappearing act during the NAFL draft) on Saturday night at 9pm. It was a little cool on the lake/canals, but they had a blanket that we put to good use. The Gandolier was a young guy, probably in his early twenties and he was very nice. We had some non-alcoholic champagne (something to do with the area being dry since they offer the real stuff at their other locations) and chocolates and the Gandolier told us a little bit about the boat and during the cruise he sang a couple of Italian songs.
It was very nice and romantic since it was fairly late and the area wasn't too busy, and the girlfriend absolutely loved it...
If you decided to take the wifey on a cruise, let me know. I found out that there was a 25% off coupon in the Dallas Entertainment Book (http://www.entertainment.com/save/geolanding?zip=75242&linkName=GOOGLE&affiliateID=20981673700000000000), but nobody ever took it from me. I had to make my reservations with their home office in California and I paid over the phone with a credit card, so the discount was taken off instantly. You could probably either tell them you have the coupon, or if you want to play it safe I could even mail it to you just in case they do happen to ask for it at the site.
Thanks again, Cap! You saved Valentine's Day! :)

No problem, I might take the wife there sometime. Glad to hear that it turned out good.
