New laptop

I have just been offered to buy a laptop thru the place where I work. It’s a deal where they pay 2/3 of the price so I will get it to a very reasonable price. My problem is that I have never had a laptop before and don’t really know what to look for. The only thing I see is the red Ferrari box.

Therefore I turn to the place with all the experts.

Is this a good product and what questions do I need to ask?<O:p</O:p

What do you want it to do?

Where are you going to use it most?

What are your priorities for getting one?

If I had that 2/3 deal, I would get the top of the line system, since you are only paying for 1/3 of it. But that's just me and it really depends on what you want.
