Britney Spears is planning to bare all for the cover of a US fashion magazine.

The 23-year-old pop princess will appear topless, except for a necklace given to her by hubby Kevin Federline, for Allure magazine.

In an interview, the star admits that the pair had a few arguments in the early days of their six-month-old marriage.

She said: "We hit a little bit of reality, hardcore, after the first three weeks. But we handled it fine, and now things are starting to go really smooth."

Britney said the daily routine of being a wife was tough occasionally, having spent years living it up on tour and partying with her friends.

Her latest single, Do Somethin', entered the charts at number six on Sunday.
