Is it just me, or is this season just getting wierder and wierder with the amount of coaching turnover? I have never seen it this bad. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if this was the year that Riley stepped down and handed Miami over to Jeff's little brother.

It is pretty crazy, but it does happen. And I guess it shows how much coaching talent is out there getting chances to prove themselves - especially considering how many retreads the NBA uses.

I think there is gonna be alot more change.
I expect Brown to be gone from Detroit and Phil Jackson to be back somewhere. Flip Saunders will probably land a job as well.

I cant imagine Larry Brown getting along with Kobe at all.
I think the Knicks and Pistons will work out some sorta "trade" to get Brown to New York. Peter Vecsey(for whatever he is worth) thought it would take a 1st round pick & Jamal Crawford.
I think Saunders has a good chance of ending up in Detroit.
No idea who will end up with the Lakers. I think its pretty much whoever Kobe wants to coach him.

Please tell NY just give us the pick - keep Crawford far, far, far away from the Pistons.
NBA coach has to be the worst job in the bigs - because the contracts are so big and they are guaranteed contracts the star players run the team and it pretty much doesn't matter who you are - if your star is unhappy or the team is not playing well the coach will get the axe 99.9% of the time rather than the player. LB is probably the exception - he's the only coach in the league that can tell the team what he is and is not going to do like basically telling the Pistons he is coaching somewhere else next year despite having a contract here.

Who got fired/stepped down most recently?
I missed the tail end of it on SportsCenter this morning, and never figured out the team or the coach in question.

Silas deserved to get fired. His rotations suck, his offensive style is crappy, and he doesnt make in game adjustments. Im glad that they fired him, we may have a shot at winning now.

Paul Silas of Cleveland.
New owners, late season slide (though they will stay make the playoffs), and public embarrassment of the organization.
Makes sense
