Man, that was incredible!

Wichita State converts a free throw then the intentional miss/rebound/basket with .7 seconds left to tie the game, and then Vandy throws it the length of the court to a guy standing wide open under the basket to win the game.

Pretty amazing, even for the NIT.

Ughh, I couldn't believe that.

I'm a WSU fan though, so it was quite painful. They just left the guy wide open back there, just assumed it was going to OT.

Ughh, so mad.

Really, a horrible game for the most part though, tons of turnovers and just ugly. Awesome ending though, even if it wasn't the one I wanted. ;)

Memphis should pound Vandy next game if they play like they have been playing.

is .7 enough time to throw a full-length pass and score?

Yeah, they replayed it and he definitely got it off.

Now it'd be pretty hard to do WITH ANYONE ANYWHERE NEAR YOU, but alas.

damn. must've been a very sharp pass.

It was. The guy was left all alone. The guy who threw it had a good arm.

Clock doesn't start until the guy catches the ball...

yeah. but i watched Fisher have a helluva hard time throwing up a shot with .4 left, I'm thinking a fullcourt pass and a shot would take a bout a second or more... unless the pass was quite SHARP, and the catcher does a good job of heaving it up quickly.

Pass doesn't matter - like Jeeb said, clock starts when the receiver catches the ball. Could have lobbed it way up there, and still fine.
