OT - Help ordering FM2005 in USA

I got a suggestion yesterday to go look at gamestop and lo and behold it was there. I hadn't quite made up my mind yet so I didn't order it. So today I decide to order it, and now they have no reference to it on their website. I went back into my history and get nothing but error messages when I click those links.

So, any other suggestions?

Are you trying to order FM2005 or WWSM2005 ? Wow, just checked eb
games, gamestop, outpost.com, compusa, and bestbuy and no one has it
listed anymore. I have seen it in Fry's so I would think outpost.com would
have it. I found it at Chips and Bits (http://www.chipsbits.com/itemdesc.asp?CartId={F687ADE4-C44A-492A-992B-088ADFCAEVERESTC535}&ic=WORLWSM2005%2EIR&eq=&Tp=) . You can also order FM2005 from places in the
UK which will ship to the US. Marc, is WWSM2005 being pulled
from the US? I even looked at the check prices page for WWSM on
gamespot and there are only links to imports of FM2005.

That is weird. WWSM was listed on Gamestop yesterday, but I noticed the inventory levels in the local store mentioned that they had only 1-3 in stock and had no more on order. Now none of these stores carry it?

Also, Marc, do you have anything to say about Send-it.com? I've ordered FM2005 from them, but then someone here posted that they are selling pirated copies. Any truth to that? Or is this old news that has since been resolved? I tried to cancel the order, but they shipped it anyway. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm planning on sending it back.

are the ones that indicate that Sendit has been selling pirated copies. They say that people that purchased the game from Sendit are unable to apply the patch.

To follow up, US-based www.gogamer.com sells FM and has great service.

You could call a couple gamestops in your area to see if they still have it. PRobably would be quicker than ordering it.

I asked Sendit.com to comment on the pirated FM2005 issue. Their response, received just now was...

"All problem stock has been removed from circulation. I can give you a 100% guarantee that the copy shipped to you in [sic] a legit genuine copy. The problem stock was identified a number of months ago, we replaced any problem copies."

This response makes sense, considering that SIgames told me that, as far as they know, "no 'fake' versions of the game have been sold since the first week of January, when the retailers who had unwittingly bought the stock were made aware of the problem."

I'll post again after I receive the game, install it, and try to patch it.

did the people who order it from fofc get new copies of the game?
i don't remember reading that they did, i would hate to get the game and be unable to patch it, the patches make a world of difference

I've received the game from Sendit.com. Works fine, it patches fine, it's not a bootleg copy.

Now back to the game!
