Hey, has anyone done this yet? How does it play? I know some of our CoH guys (gi and CJ, possibly Bonegavel) were going to do this, but has anyone had any impressions yet? I was thinking about getting this if it's good (especially since I hit level 50 on CoH last week).

I have it but I need more memory before I can really delve into it. The combat looks good to me, it's different in that it's more turn based and not twitch. You DO need a gaming rig to play tho, just having an internet comp isn't going to cut it.

I logged in the other day but I couldn't bring myself to play more than a few missions. The game is finally understandable with the decent tutorials in the begining. Still, CoH has spoiled me to traveling around in an online game.
Gratz on 50! I'll be playing soon. Finishing a MBA class this week and will be on next. CJ just had a new addition to the family and might not be playing all that much yet.

Bone, what server are you on? I believe my wife is picking it up today as she is getting another game for my daughter's birthday tomorrow.

Got it and I'm jacking in. I'll see what names are available, but I probably won't be Silver Streak here. I'll try to be Richard Weed.

And this is true. I'm Artemix on the Linenoise server.

Another night and another evening of no games (well, did play Gamecube with wife and daughter - what a blast). At some point I'll get up the gumption to dive into MxO.
Not sure what server I'm on. I think if I add you to my AIM list you should show in there or something.
My name is BIO911....Have yet to pick a server... :)

This game is pretty frustrating. I don't like it compared to City of Heroes. The combat system seems messed up (although it is a little cool looking in interlock), all the buildings are the same inside (the elevators are in the exact same places, and the tilesets are exactly the same), and I can't figure out how to move my guy correctly. It seems as if I right-click and I can control him, but it gets pretty tiresome to run 150-200 yds to a door and back again like that.
In City of Heroes, I mapped the third mouse button to activate mouse-look. Is there something here that I can do that?
Also, it still seems very buggy.

Sounds like I'm holding out then... I miss our groupings from CoH.
My own damn fault though.

Just got my "official" copy in the mail from EB games. If I'm going to play this I definitely need to hook up with others here. Solo, at least at first, is making me batty.
Not sure of which server I'm on, but my girl is Placid and I sign in as bonegavel... does that mean you can contact me via AIM? No clue.

You can only have one character per server. I don't have AIM installed, but I am on the Linenoise server. Haven't played it much, and I'm still playing CoH.
