This post is damn close to trolling.

I'd say its closer than damn close.

You've got to be kidding me....surely that can't be serious? Too bad he didn't go in shooting the place up. He probably would have been hailed as a hero who ended the suffering of many.

Relax.

Shit. If anyone else posts the same thing, it's assumed that someone is just being funny. But if Bubba posts it, it's assumed that he's trying to bait everyone into some political/moral argument.

You guys jumping up his ass about it is the real trolling, if you asked me.

I like my yourths to be green and leafy, so that the tangy garlic sauce clings to it.

I really would like to know what kind of yourth we're raising. I've heard hand-raised yourth are worth a ton of money to some folks.

Seriously, I think the kid (and his parents) got what he wanted, which was a "you've gotta be kidding me" picture that will enrage Terri Schiavo supporters (except for myself) and cost them probably $50 in fines.

Seeing stuff like this and having seen pictures of little kids with signs and facepaint at various Kerry and Bush rallies earlier this year (my favorite was a girl who had her pigtails shaped like a W) has made me realize one thing:

I will not force my kids to become part of my politial advocacy, no matter how right I think I am. It just seems . . . tacky.

Maybe if I would have seen the editorial comment I would have some idea what the Hell you're trying to say Bubba.

What kind of asshole parent would use their own child like that.

This whole Terri situation is sickening. She is not brain dead, she has no brain. Its pretty much the brain stem+spinal fluid. She's not coming back, and despite what her parents try to say, she has no consciousness.

Now Eaglesfan can come in and tell me i'm full of shit ;).

Y'know, the time stamp bug on the whole stevew/BubbaWheels "Kreskin" thing kinda make me chuckle ... which was kinda unexpected for me in this thread.

The week before the game one of the guys on the UTEP board actually asked that question. "What in the hell is a Ute?"

I was very embarassed for him...

What exactly is a Ute? Besides someone from Utah.

Well, my eight year old today asked me if we could bring Terri some food because he was worried about her.

It's not always a parent forcing a child into a political situations. Children are sometimes some of the most compassionate people on the planet.

Of course, I'm not saying that this is case in this particular situation.

But you didn't send your children, knowing they would be arrested, to do it.

At this point I'd be willing to feed her to my children just to get this damn thing overwith.

Of course, I'm not saying that this is case in this particular situation.

Along those lines, when I was fundraising for...ah...one of the presidential candidates this summer, I remember one house where I had a very nice chat with a woman (nice jewish lady) who brought her little kids down to talk to me, and the son (who was maybe 7) INSISTED on making a donation. She tried to discourage him, but he was adamant about it, and even guilted his little sister into donating as well (I think the mother ended up reimbursing them, but I can't remember). I was just amazed. The mother said the kid was very precocious, but I can't even imagine having offered to give the money under my pillow to the Dukakis campaign!

So, like Duckman says, you never know with kids, some of them really do care about greater issues. Disclaimer: I didn't RTFA.

I believe that the reason she had a feed tube inserted was that her brain damage was so severe that she doesn't have a swallow reflex. If the kid had got close enough to pour the cup of water down her neck, would he have drowned her thereby speeding up what he was trying to avoid?

That would have been ironic, or something.
