I remember in previous versions the board of directors could get replaced espcially if the team was in debt. Is there any chance you could get a rich new owner or will you always have same personality owner.
Just wondering because in my current game i took over for Chelsea and having the boss buy players is something i found very interesting.
Would be neat to see a sugar daddy take over a team.
I think Marc wrote how to do it in another thread - a search for "SUGAR DADDY" or "SUGARDADDY" would likely get you the instructions to modify a team to get a rich owner.

I think the question is can it happen randomly instead of modifying the .ini file that
Marc was talking about. That could be interesting, and I don't see why it couldn't.
Is Abramovich the only sugar daddy in the game?

I think you could give Sugar Daddies to multiple clubs. I wonder what it would be like in the Conference North and South if I gave all of them Sugar Daddies...and checked in from time to time to see what fun they were having.

Oh. The replacement of boards was pretty common in the CM3 days. It changed a lot when CM4 came along.

I wonder if the 3 that would get relegated at the end of the season would make it
back in the season after that? It would be interesting to see what happens to them
and if being a sugar daddy is enough to lure big time talent to Conf South/North

Abramovic is the only 'true' sugar daddy in the game - however other clubs can have boards move in and inject cash into the club (just not as much or as often as happens with a sugar daddy generally).
Sugar-daddies don't occur naturally within the game, simply because I believe that for some people having one 'pop into' your club would remove some of the fun of the game by making it easier than they'd prefer (having one at your club does ease financial hassles a LOT).
Hope this helps,
Marc
