I hope they succeed. I've been against the Patriot Act since it was entered into the record. Unfortunately, it was ushered in so quickly that it was law before I read the entire thing online.

Our mission is to fix the Patriot Act to enable the government to fight terror while preserving important checks and balances on law enforcement, thus limiting undue government intrusion into the private lives of average Americans.
