Maroon 5 concert last night

SOOOOOOOOOO last night we had 4 tickets to see maroon 5 at the Silver Spur arena at Osceola Heritage park in Kissimmee Florida. Concert started at 700pm est. So BF, GF, and 3R climb into the car at 400 for the drive. At speed limit the whole way we'll be there on time or 10 minutes late or so, so Im feeling confident that we've left with ample time. Well, what the fuck happened in St. Augustine becuase from St. Aug to Daytona it was bumper to bumper 10 mile an hour bullshit. So as we get to Holly Hill/LPGA Blvd. the clock ticks 7 and I KNOW from all of my driving to Orlando that even at speed limit we have another hour and half and speed limit would be a dream at this point. We duck off, hit the 7-11 and turn around....now the funny part is that it was actually going to be GF, 3R, and C but at the last minute C backed out and so BF could go which made me much happier. So as we duck off of the highway to head back BF says, "She fucked me again!!!" LOL, awesome moment in a horrible night.

I'm not sure I understand why they suck in the first place, but on a continuum of suckage, those who are actually competent song writers and musicians (regardless if you like the music or not) certainly are on the higher end of the continuum than the rest.

I have no clue whether they will be popular in 3 years, but I don't really judge a band's worthiness by how many albums they sell. There have been a number of one-hit (or no-hit) wonders who were quite good, regardless of what "people" thought of them. These guys are talented, regardless of what you think of their music and the fact that they've sold more albums then you think they should. Two bands, two above-average albums in two different styles - not many people can claim that.

I'm pretty damn sick of them myself, but Harder to Breathe and Shiver are great songs. The rest of the album has too slow a groove for me to enjoy it. I don't know, I don't find anything objectionable about the music myself.
