There's an article on the front page of today's Washington Post that set me off, discussing Peter Angelos and how the Nationals still do not have broadcast rights anywhere; and it may not be resolved in time for Washington-area residents to see the Nationals' Opening Day at Philadelphia.

WTF? Maybe I don't entirely understand the situation - I mean, I completely understand why Angelos doesn't want the Nats, and doesn't want them to broadcast, but what's keeping MLB from basically just saying "No"?

I'll be honest - when my wife and I moved up to the Maryland area, we were both excited about going to see games at Camden Yards; but I'm at the point that I don't want PA to get any of my money... he may be worried about losing DC as a revenue source, but he's already lost me. And I'm an AL fan (Indians).
