Microsoft Word question

this has been driving me nuts. im sure its really simple, and im just missing it.

part of my job involves highlighting text in microsoft word, and then bolding it, underlining it, and changing the font size to 11. there has GOT to be a way to program a shortcut so i only have to hit 1 button. how do i do that? thanks.

The answer lies in "Macros." I've never done it, but playing around with it shouldn't take too long. :)

I think that the easiest way would be to define a new style.

Open the task pane (view-->task pane)
Open the styles and formating task pane (click on the little black triangle at the top of the task pane)
Click on "New Style"
Give your style a name
Set the font size, type, click on the bold & underline shortcuts
Click on "OK"

The name of your new style will appear in the task pane. Highlight your text and click on that name.

Of course this is assuming you are using Office XP.
