Just an update from my solo career.

It's fun how -at some point- an AI team can come up with the most complete and powerful team in the league. It took 40 years but here it is. To put things in perspective, my 49er teams are traditionnaly the #1 rated offensive team in the league every single season...plain and simple...but this very year, the New Orleans Saints have finally put together a team for the ages.

They have a QB, Bucky Peters, who's in his 8th year and was their former #1 overall pick...they've got a couple of high-picks receivers including 3rd year pro and -there again- former Saints #1 overall choice- Marc Tate who's torching the record book (MY records!). They also have playmakers on both lines including a couple of 1st round picks that turned out great and two late rounders who blossomed and became studs.

In short, they have a great all around football team with All-League caliber players at every skill positions. it's great because that's what human-controled team usually have but this time around, "they" (the AI Saints) have it !

I'm at mid-season, standing 6-2 but these freaks are 8-0 and averaging a score of 35-10 every games...can't wait for our week 12 matchup. Could well decide homefield advantage through the playoffs and this time, they have a reaaaaal shot at it !

I am going through this currently in my league. The Carolina Panthers have won two straight Super Bowls, and have been extremely tough. But they have been leading the league in defense with a pretty darn good offense too.

The frustrating thing is my stud RB went Barry Saunders on my ass and gave me $18,000,000 of dead cap space! :o I went from 13-3 to 7-9 in one season and then 10-6 the next as I have tried rebuilding my team. Of course, it has not helped that my stud QB has been injured in Week 13-15 each of the last 3 seasons either, so I have been unable to take them out in the playoffs.

Fixed it for you.
