View Full Version : April Fool's Day can JUMA
(stands for jump up my ass)
There is nothing more painful than watching a class of uncreative 7th graders try to pull off a lame April Fool's Day joke on their band director. It isn't creative, clever, funny, well-executed, or generally ANYTHING good. Watching them squirm in their seats trying not to laugh and exchange glances and giggles with each other is just excrutiating to behold. I've become an April Fool's Day GRINCH.

I feel your pain. I teach 8th graders, and they aren't much better. It sometimes makes me wonder if we are teaching kids anything these days. Luckily, this year we are on spring break during this "holiday", so I don't have to endure any of this.

If I was a schoolteacher I would always make sure that April 1 was a sick day.

Two words: Lighten up.
They're in 7th fricking grade.
4 words: JUMA
It is not just the 7th graders. Every grade is just as intolerable. GRUMBLE GRUMBLE
(note - the JUMA is in jest)

This is good to know, because I was seriously wondering if you wanted a whole bunch of seventh graders to propel themselves through your anus.
You know there IS this one....no nevermind I'm not going there.
Too late to unring that bell.

Worst day of the year. Thank goodness it's on a weekend this year.

Funny class.
Can any of you funny students tell me what letter the word "funny" begins with?
F?
Well, guess what every single person laughing at the end of this sentence will get.
Ok. Now let's get back to business.
