MLB Radio (Mets)

With Time Warner and Fox/Cablevision fighting again, there are currently no Met games on Time Warner (except for those on the WB and national broadcasts).

This has me considering plunking down the 15 bucks for the MLB radio service. Has anyone used this is in the past? I used to listen to it pretty often back when it was still free, and it seemed to work reasonably well.

Also, on a Met-specific note, I haven't listened to WFAN broadcasts in a while, and certainly not since Bob Murphy retired. Who are the current announcers, and how are they? I never liked Ed Coleman, so I hope he's not still there.

Gary Cohen is very good. Howie Rose isn't too bad. Ed Coleman is good at hosting the pre and post-game shows and as the beat reporter.

I think Cohen is awesome. He doesn't use any gimmicky type calls, just straight and tells whats going on, only getting emotional at the appropriate times. Nice, clear voice.

I love Gary Cohen, glad to hear he's still there. I agreee that Coleman is good as beat reporter and with the pre- and post-game shows (though not as good as Howie Rose was back in the day), but I can't stand him in the booth.
