2-Player TCY Info

In a prior post someone asked me how 2-player TCY works and I thought I would share it with everybody.

Well,a couple of years ago me and a friend were wondering how we could play TCY together, we came up with a solution.

1. OFFENSE

a. one person is the O. Cordinator and handles all the Offensive duties like;

aa. Offensive Game Plan

bb. Offense Depth Chart

cc. Run Details

dd. Offensive Primary Formation

ee. Kicker


2. DEFENSE

a. one person is the D. Cordinator and handles all the Defensive Duties like;

aa. Defensive Game Plan

bb. Defense Depth Chart

cc. Defensive Primary Formation

dd. Special Team - KR, PR, % of Starters of ST, %Wil. to use injuried

ee. Punter



3. Recruiting

a. O. Cord handles Offensive Recruits, D. Cord handles Defensive Recruits

b. Split the Travel Budget and Phone call down the Middle per week

aa. 10 phone calls = 5 each per week

bb. Travel Budget example: 3500 = 1750 each perweek

cc. 8 Visit requests = 4 per week


c. Size of Recruiting Class is 16 most years

aa. Size is 16 = 8 offensive recruits and 8 defensive recruits

bb. Its up to the persons playing if the want to stick the 8/8 guidlines, example: you don't want to have to take on a
defensive walkon player, if the offense still has offers to
top100/highly rated player.

Thanks Husker! I will give it a try this weekend. I have one friend who will play sports sims with me, so 2-player games are always a plus. Up to this point we've been stuck playing NCAA 2005 each taking a team and simming through each season. I've always enjoyed it, but I like TCY a lot better. I let you know how it goes.

Yeah I know about that thread, thanks.... This is a formula for just 2 players, not mult-players. I think more than 2 coaches would be too much, it would ruin the flow of the game..

I'm back to playing 2 Player TCY and remembering how much fun it is, thought I would remind everybody on how it works.. Also, could this be moved over to TCY/FOF section. thanks..

I agree fully, it takes alot of the tedious parts out of TCY when two players are managing one team.
