Ok, so on a whim I decided to take advantage of VIPSports bonus offer so I dumped all my online cash into the site.

Now, In order to cash out I need to bet 3x the amount of my deposit + Bonus.

So essentialy I'll be playing off of my $71 bonus and once it's gone i'm gonna cash out but in the meantime i'll try and fulfill the requirements to unlock my cashout. I started last night with a win, so were off to a spiffy start. I've made 3 plays today noted below.

I see that you have an over/under pick which are picks I like a lot. I'm not sure if you check the umpires for the game but I've found that can have a big impact. For instance Mike Everitt is calling the balls and strikes tonight and he actually surpressed runs by a decent margin last year. All sorts of numbers on the umps can be found <A href=http://www.baseballprospectus.com/statistics/umpire_report2004.php>here</A>.

It's actually pretty surprising to see what a difference the umpire can make. Just something to keep in mind.

Not a good day as I dropped 2 of 3 and $57.58, but theres always tommorow.
One suspicious thing is that VIP is not showing any runlines for tommorows games nor did they have any for today and that worries me, they better get their act together.

I'm looking harder at some Basketball games for Friday than Baseball games, I was doing real well on BBall earlier this year, dunno why i gave it up.

Thats something i've never thought of, but it is interesting. You wouldn't happen to have a link to where it shows who is umping the days games do you?

Not for games that start the series but if you look at the box score from the first game of the series the ump who was at 1st the night before will be behind the plate in game two. You might find it easier just to look at the umps that are huge outliers. Brian Gorman, Brian Onora, and Doug Eddings all had runs allowed under 4 last year in around 30 games behind the plate(Eddings was actually at 3.68!). Conversely, Bruce Froemming, C.B. Bucknor, and Paul Schrieber were all above 5.8 runs allowed(Schrieber at 6.15!). Umps like that can really make a difference in an over/under pick.
