Does anyone have their plans set yet?

With school I am pretty much limited to the month of August.

This looks to be my best option, with a lot of mileage on the Explorer:

08/04 - Findlay to Cleveland, Indians vs. Yankees (7:05)
08/05 - Cleveland to Pittsburgh, Pirates vs. Dodgers (7:05)
08/06 - Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, Phillies vs. Brewers (7:05)
08/07 - Philadelphia to New York, Mets vs. Cubs (1:10)
08/08 - New York to Boston, Red Sox vs. Rangers (7:05)
08/09 - Boston to New York, Yankees vs. White Sox (7:05)
08/10 - New York to Baltimore, Orioles vs. Devil Rays (7:05)
08/11 - Baltimore to Findlay

Hopefully gas prices don't go sky high this summer like they are predicting!

That's a pretty good schedule, but with gas prices and the cost of hotels, it could prove costly. I did something similar on a smaller scale while in high school and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Good luck with pulling it all together!

I'm thinking I may have to eliminate the Boston part, their tickets are $45 for nose bleeds but I want to make it there someday. Tickets alone, with Boston are going to cost around $200. Some of the games I priced some pretty good seats though, may have to cut back on some of them.

I also know some chick in Cleveland, so I may be able to avoid paying hotel costs in Cleveland. I should probably start talking to her a little more.

Yes. It's called "Paternity Leave".

Hey, I'm no chick (and I wont cuddle) but you can feel free stay at my shack of a house in C-Town if your "hook up" falls thru ;)

Last week of July, the wife and I are flying to Dallas, dropping the kids off with my parents, and flying to Kauai for a week. First vacation ever away from the kids.

Not sure of the date yet, but I'm flying out to Portland to visit my brother. Also, in the Last week of July, I'm flying to California for my cousin's wedding.

Ksyrup, Kauai is absolutely incredible, I went there during spring break last year. Where are you going to be staying?

I will probably be headed to Vegas in the next month or two to visit a friend from high school who is now in the Air Force. I also have a pair of weekend trips to Chicago planned, one Memorial Day weekend for the U.S./England soccer match, the other mid-July for a bachelor party. But I usually do my 'big' traveling in either early spring or mid-fall as its usually cheaper then.

My parents have a Marriott timeshare there. I'm not sure of the name. We're getting to go rent-free, and get a double suite overlooking the ocean. Should be sweet!

I'm thinking of Washington in August.

Anyone know if it is hard to get up to Baltimore without driving there to see a Orioles game?
